Where would I be with my German copy of Twilight without Google Translate?? Lost, that's where...
The start was a bit difficult, but now I feel the reading is going quite well. Sometimes I look up a word, but mostly the text seems to flow freely through my brain. I'm guessing it helps quite a lot that I almost know the book by heart... Sometimes, if I don't understand a word, I try to remember how the sentence is in English.
I've often though that German is a rather unattractive language, and maybe it is my love of the book that is colouring my opinion now, but it is quite enjoyable to read.
PS. Yes, it is embarrassing that I know Twilight almost by heart... :D
PS2. Oh, if I could only get my own book to be this good... <3
