Loved it!

Not very surprisingly, I loved the latest Black Dagger Brotherhood book, Lover Unleashed. I don't know how J.R. Ward does it to achieve the perfect balance of intrigue, mystery, danger, humour and sexiness. I just want her to explore the Blay/Quinn relationship more - I adore them! :)

Lover Unleashed tells the story of Payne and Manny. Payne is Vishous' twin sister, and Manny is Jane's former colleague. Manny is brought in to help Payne, who has been gravely injured, and they feel an instant connection. Naturally, the relationship of a Chosen and a human is not easy, and they must overcome many obstacles in their search for happily-ever-after. Will they get there?? You'll have to read the book yourselves to find out...

Now I'm on to the next book of hers: Envy, from the series about the fallen angels. I really liked the previous ones, Covet and Crave, and this seems to follow the same excellent pattern. Perhaps not as addictive as the BDB books, but very nice indeed.
