In this book, Jim Heron continues his fight on the side of good. His target this time is Thomas "Veck" DelVecchio (who is already known to us BDB fans), a son of a serial killer. Veck is involved in a brutal killing, and is assigned an Internal Affairs officer, Sophia, to monitor him. Hmm, I wonder if they'll fall in love, you ask? Perhaps, perhaps... I strongly urge everyone to pick up every book J.R. Ward has ever written. She is amazing!
The next book, which I've already read 50 pages from today, is Alexandra Potter's Me and Mr. Darcy. I'm frankly a huge Mr. Darcy lover, so this is just my cup of tea. :) I've read Gwyn Cready's Seducing Mr. Darcy before, and now also have A Weekend with Mr. Darcy by Victoria Connelly waiting on my shelf. Oh, and I'm also somewhere in the middle of Pamela Aidan's Darcy trilogy, which seems like a blast. Hmm, time to pick up that one again, too, I think.
Such a good thing that Jane Austen told us the original story of Mr. Darcy, otherwise we wouldn't have all these brilliant stories to read.
