Finished!

Just finished These Three Remain by Pamela Aidan. I liked it better than the previous one, and at times I loved it! The things with Sayre and Trenholme and Lady Sylvanie etc I still find very weird and sort of unnecessary to me. But, oh, the depth of Darcy's feelings for Elizabeth! I had no idea. The end of the book was so beautiful, it almost made me cry.

I want to know more about what happened next, but it seems that Aidan hasn't written anything more, and if I read something by another author (and there seem to be lots of books, the descriptions of which start with "After the birth of their first child, Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth...") I won't know what happened to the characters unique to Aidan's books, such as Dy, who I just love. Oh, I do hope he ends up with ***** (don't want to spoil it...). :)

No idea which book I'll pick up next, but the bookshelf sure is full of choices. I'll get back to you soon.
